Momo is Seeking a Talented Team Leader

 
Momo is a happy • lucky • lifestyle shop located in Seattle’s Japantown. We’re seeking a self-motivated manager who leads by example to help make our unique boutique a nationwide destination.
 
The Ideal Momo Manager
o   Inspires a team by creating camaraderie and exemplifying the Momo Culture
o   Displays positivity and passion for retail and customer service
o   Owns a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
o   Genuinely likes people as team mates and customers
o   Deft at prioritizing, problem solving and decision making
o   Prides him/her self on creating a place people want to gather
o   Understands accountability and flexibility
o   Possesses patience, honesty and integrity
o   Minimum of two years of management in the retail/customer service sector 
o   Adept with computers and POS system
o   Familiar with the Chinatown/International District, and can act as concierge
o   Must be flexible to work weekdays/weekends and holidays including weeks up to Christmas
Primary Responsibilities:
·       Lead Team of Sales Associates
o   Train sales associates on all aspects of running the shop
o   Address staff requests and monthly schedule
o   Participate in reviews, retraining and hiring
·       Manage Inventory and Vendors
o   Assist with merchandise selection and reordering of 'never outs'
o   Input purchase orders, receive merchandise
o   Manage inventory, take bi-annual count and handle discrepancies
o   Oversee consignment sales and payments
·       Sales and Shop Keeping
o   Demonstrate selling through product knowledge and customer service
o   Create a welcoming, chaos-free shop through attractive display and pleasant atmosphere
o   Maintain environment with regular cleaning schedule
·       Marketing and Social Media
o   Maintain mailing lists
o   Post on Facebook, instagram
o   Assist with events both in-store and community
This could be the perfect part-time job for a self-employed maker/designer who would like to sell his/her goods at Momo or for someone who wants to engage with the work world on a part-time basis.
o   Excellent verbal skills
o   Japanese and/or Chinese speaker a plus
o   Proficient on Quick Books POS, Excel
o   Part-time: two to four days a week
o   Pay DOE
