Father’s Day in the Sun

Momo Man has a few ideas to make Dad look sharp and feel summer-ized. Father’s Day heralds the advent of summer, and nothing says summer like a linen shirt. At Momo you can find 100% linen shirts from Raffi and & Sons, and linen/cotton blends from National Standards.

A pink linen shirt and a glass of rosé, perfection.

Raffi’s Aqua Cotton is the perfect light-weight
button-down shirt, and oh so soft.

Daddy-O will look sharp in our selection of mod and slim cut shirts from Bruun & Stengade, Copenhagen.

Pops will have happy cool feet with
these easy summer socks from Japan.
The Open Sole design assures the socks won’t slip off the heel.

Billy Jealousy has a variety of great grooming products that any man, especially Dad, will appreciate.

Wishing all the Dads out there a fabulous Father’s Day, with love from Momo.

Spring has Sprung for the Momo Man

New Menswear Arrivals at Momo
Bruun & Stengade, Copenhagen

In 2004 Niels Bruun and Peter Stengade established their eponymous brand with a collection of shirts. They view the woven, button-up shirt as a key building block to a men's  wardrobe. Although now a complete menswear line, their shirts still anchor the brand, defining modern, urban, wearable style with attention to detail, a bit of daring and a good sense of humor.

What sets this boutique shirt maker apart is a focus on premium fabrics. They’re unique among today’s shirters in that all their textiles are made to order, and incorporate garment processes like yarn dying, enzyme washes and laser printing in the creation of one of a kind designs.

SHELTER FROM THE STORMS

It’s the time of year the southwest winds bring rain to the Northwest. Our damp season demands versatile all-weather outerwear, and at Momo, we’ve found the perfect solutions, beginning with: Baro Drywear. Based in Vancouver, BC, their focus is technical jackets styled for the street — taped seams, breathable fabric, moisture-wicking lining and of course, waterproof.

Military-inspired “Brockton” features a fishtail back and adjustable hood.

In loden green or black, the Brockton offers room for layering
while maintaining trim profile.

The tailored “Dean” jacket has street smart styling
and the same waterproof technical construction.

Many know Gramicci as a pioneering rock-climbing clothier. This season, the company collaborated with Japanese designers to produce Gramicci JP. The result? A good-looking work jacket where outdoor utility meets practical urban style ... at work, in the studio, or out-and-about.

Always classic: Saint James Nemo fisherman smock is a staple for mariners in cold climes from the coast of Brittany to the British Isles. Made of heavy canvas with an interior pocket, this pullover is Northwest ready, whether you’re on the water, in the woods or around town.

Linen Love

Now that we’ve had enough sunny warm days, we can realistically claim it’s linen season! It’s easy to love this fabulous fabric, be it for man, woman, or home. So, just in time for May’s warm-wave, here’s a sample Momo man-centric linen shirts.

Toronto based & Sons is dedicated to well-cut shirts from fine fabrics.

Their modern fit linen shirts look great whether worn
casually with khakis or shorts, or under a blazer.

Our Raffi shirt offers a bit more traditional fit in a lighter weight linen
colored in great summer hues. Think pink — in wine and linen!

The Northwest’s own National Standards offers a couple of linen options for our very unpredictable Spring/Summer weather.
Their substantial long-sleeve linen in a rich midnight
is perfect for those cool NW summer evenings.

When summer does finally heat up, Japanese ‘Shiba Linen,’
a linen/ramie blend, combines an elegant textile with cool comfort.

At Momo, we believe that a great linen shirt makes you feel like a relaxing summer is at hand. Ahhhhhh ... bring it on.
